Right in front of the Punta de n'Amer nature reserve, the whitewashed Protur Sa Coma Playa has a great setting. Encircled by manicured gardens and nodding palms, it's just a five-minute walk to Sa Coma beach.
Step inside and you'll be greeted by a chic lobby. All black and grey marble, quirky lighting and water features, it certainly scores points on the design front. Upstairs, rooms are light and spacious with tiled floors and glass doors opening on to balconies. Plus they're all kitted out with mod-cons like satellite TV and a pillow menu.
Outside, meanwhile, the remarkable lagoon-style pool takes centre-stage among sun terraces with a scattering of umbrellas and sun loungers. And with areas for children, it's a superb place for the whole family to relax.
It's also the closest hotel to the resort's spa - the Biomar Thalassa and Wellness centre. As well as a range of therapies like facials and massage, you'll also find hydromassage baths, saunas and a heated swimming pool here.
Food-wise, as a hotel within the Club Protur Sa Coma Resort, you've got access to a good range of restaurants like tapas and Italian. But closer to hand there's also the hotel's own cafe-come-bar and a pool bar, too.
