A holiday at Protur Hotel Bonamar in Cala Bona offers a relaxing base with plenty of traditional Majorcan charm. Cala Bona is a relatively quiet family resort, ideal for families and couples but the younger set dont have to miss out on the party scene which is centred in the nearby larger and livelier sister resort of Cala Millor, which is within around 15 minutes walking distance and is also accessible via a short taxi ride or seafront mini-tram service.

Cala Bona and the neighbouring resort of Cala Millor are located on the eastern coast of the Baleric island of Majorca. The twin resorts are separated by a 5 minute taxi fare or 20 minutes walk for the more energetic.

Most holiday destinations in Majorca are biased towards either English or German tourists. Cala Bona is very much a British favourite while Cala Millor is a little different as a mixed resort in that both English and German tourists flock to in large numbers. Cala Bona is much the quieter of the two places making it ideal for young families. In Cala Bona the bulk of the entertainment takes part in hotels. Cala Bona has grown from a tiny Spanish fishing village into an important resort on Majorca's quieter east coast. The origins of Cala Bona is visible as Cala Bona still features several narrow streets. The harbour is the focal point of the town of Cala Bona. The harbour has been redeveloped recently and now features a range of harbourside cafes, watering holes and restaurants. A number of Cala Bona tourist excursions are available from the harbour.
