Cala Bona has expanded from a small traditional fishing village into an important tourist resort on Majorca's quieter east coast. The original village of Cala Bona is still shown as the resort features a number of the original narrow streets. The harbour is the liveliest part of the town of Cala Bona. The harbour has been revamped recently and now features a selection of open air cafes, watering holes and eateries. A number of local tourist excursions can be booked from the harbour.
