Picture the scene. You're sitting in a cafe, looking out over a Spanish harbour. The sky's melting into shades of pink and mauve as the sun begins to set. Yachts and boats are bobbing in the breeze. You raise a glass of wine to your lips and think to yourself, 'this is the life'. Sounds good, doesn't it? Well that's what evenings are simply about at the Hotel Cala Bona.
Set right in the centre of town, this place has got its own pavement cafe overlooking the marina. What's more, all of the resort's shops, bars and restaurants are more or less next door. But that's not all on the location front – the hotel's just a minute's stroll from the beach, too. Simply grab a towel and some suncream and uncover yourself a spot on the soft golden sands.
If, however, you prefer chilling out by the pool, the sun terrace is dotted with loungers and parasols where you can laze away your days. We've enjoyed a long past with the Hotel Cala Bona and as such the hotel's very much in tune with the needs of British holidaymakers. For example, they know how to knock up a top-notch cooked breakfast to kick start your day.
And come night-time, dancing's laid on in the bar so you can enjoy a superb old boogie. It's little things like this that have made this place such a hit with visitors who come back time and time again. So, if you're after somewhere central, near to the beach and that offers a real home-from-home feeling, you can't go wrong with the Hotel Cala Bona.

If you choose a holiday based at Hotel Cala Bona in Cala Bona there are plenty of activities. Cala Bona includes a few smallish sandy beaches sheltered between man made rocky breakwaters forming calm, sheltered lagoons ideal for swimming and paddling in relative safety. In recent years the breakwaters seem to have formed a natural trap for the local seaweed to accumulate both in the water and on the beach. Son Severa council have been actively managing this problem by regular removal of the seaweed to avoid a build up. Cala Bona's beaches are now probably much improved as a result of the regular maintenance.
So a holiday in Cala Bona at Hotel Cala Bona certainly offers all the ideal ingredients for a magical Majorcan holiday, stunning beaches, superb restaurants and stunning scenery. Cala Bona has a newly reformed harbour and pedestrianised zone as its focal point.
